A simple overview before you go
Agadir is the nearest major city and offers a different rhythm from Taghazout's surf atmosphere, with easy beaches, lively boulevards, and cultural stops for non-surfers too.
You can visit the Old Medina (Medina Polizzi), a rebuilt medina designed to reflect Agadir’s pre-earthquake heritage after the devastating 1960 earthquake, then continue to Agadir Souk for spices, argan products, textiles, and jewelry.
Many guests combine a marina, harbour, and boulevard stroll by day or night with a cable car ride to Agadir Oufella for panoramic city and bay views, especially around sunset.
